I am prepared to teach classes on educational history, politics, policy, and leadership; American politics and political history; social movements; civics education; and historical archival and qualitative methods.
At Northwestern, I have served as an Instructor of a required Social Policy undergraduate course; TA for classes on U.S. politics and policy, civic leadership, and research design; and will serve as a Co-Instructor of a required Field Methods graduate course in January 2027.

I have mentored in two Northwestern programs for academic relationship building among undergraduate and graduate students with historically underrepresented backgrounds in higher education (e.g., people of color, first-generation students, LGBTQ+, etc). Additionally, I have modeled and taught historical archival methodology for a graduate student peer, who is now using this methodology in her own dissertation

At Northwestern, I have led the development of a schoolwide student governance structure aimed to strengthen graduate student culture. I have also organized and facilitated book club discussions on topics of education leadership and racial and social equity.
